The winemaking history of the Kozlovic family goes back several generations. Kozlović winery is a family-owned winery situated in Istria, focusing on wines from indigenous Istrian grape varieties:
- Malvasia Istriana,
- Teran and
- Muscat Momiano,
- together with Merlot,
- Cabernet Sauvignon,
- Sauvignon Blanc.
The first generation started the business in Valle valley in 1904. Today, fourth-generation – Antonella and Gianfranco Kozlović run the business.
In 2012 they opened a new, designed winery they like to call home for people and wines.
Kozlovic Winery has a well-equipped wine tasting room and an elegant wine shop, where all their vintages and new wines are available.
There is a magnificent roofed terrace with fenced-in glass in the front, enjoying a 360-degree view of the vineyards for wine-tasting activities. Wines are paired with cold bites and small warm dishes created by the chef.
