Damjanić Winery

Discover the award-winning wines from a family Damjanić vineyard near Poreč. Their passionate descendants created an authentic experience for you to taste!

This story began at the end of the 18th century when the Jurković family planted vineyards in Fuškulin, near Poreč.

After years of hard work, they became one of the region’s leading wine houses. The 1930s won numerous awards at world wine exhibitions, such as the gold medal for red wine at the Grand Prix in Paris in 1928.

After a 50-year hiatus, their descendants, specifically, the Damjanić family, began replanting the vineyards at the beginning of the new millennium. Today, the Damjanić family has 7 hectares of vineyards.

The proximity to the sea and the low altitude are responsible for the perfect microclimate of these positions, from which they obtain wines of excellent characteristics.

Currently, the following varieties are planted from the assortment:

  • Malvasia Istriana,
  • Chardonnay,
  • Yellow Muscat,
  • Borgonja,
  • Merlot and
  • Teran.

Visitors can enjoy a cellar tour and wine tasting with prior notice.
