The tradition of viticulture and winemaking in the Skaramuča winery was passed down from generation to generation. In 1992 when private individuals were allowed to market the wine as a final product, the Skaramuča family started producing wines under their label.
The vineyards of the Skaramuča family are located in prominent locations on the Pelješac peninsula, of which the most respectable is the famous Dingač and Postup appellation, on the southern slopes of Pelješac peninsula.
The Skaramuča family has shown that only great effort and work can create a vineyard oasis from which a top-quality wine is created.
The wines are made from native:
- Plavac Mali and
- Pošip varieties.
With prior notice, the Skaramuča family organizes tastings in a pleasant environment in their wine cellar and wine shop.
