Saints Hills Winery
"Discover the hidden gem of Pelješac: Saint Hills Winery, where tradition meets modernity. Explore exquisite wines, mouth-watering cuisine, and luxury accommodation all in one place!"Saint Hills Winery is located in an old stone house on Pelješac, in the village of Oskorušno.
After its owners left in search of a better life, almost 80 years later, the new owners, the Tolj family, are returning it to its former function – a winery.
Saint Hills wines are produced from three carefully selected wine-growing areas in Istria and Dalmatia: Radovani, Komarna, and Dingač.
In cooperation with Michel Rolland, a family friend and one of the world’s best oenologists, wines are created from Croatian native varieties, produced in a modern way with respect for nature.
The wines are produced from varieties:
- Pošip,
- Malvasia Istriana,
- Chardonnay,
- Sauvignon Blanc,
- Plavac Mali.
Visitors can enjoy a cellar guided tour and discover the “Treasury room, ” which may be the best way to meet the winery. That is where they keep all their vintages produced.
This story is also followed by the food served in Saints Hills restaurant. Dishes tend to follow traditional Dalmatian recipes with a little twist from the chef. All ingredients are fresh and local, and vegetables and spices are grown in their garden.
Vinaria is also a place to stay, with a couple of luxury rooms made to meet guests’ high expectations and spoil them, fulfilling the experience of this old stone house with everything a modern person needs.
