Agricultural Vrbnik cooperative was founded on March 6, 1904, and registered as a cooperative by the decision of 58 members of the then-founding assembly.
A wine cellar was also built in 1932, where the activity of receiving and processing grapes still takes place today.
In 1995 as a result of the planned investment in modern technology and revitalization, the most important product of PZ Vrbik – Golden Vrbnička Žlahtina is obtained.
The cooperative nowadays has 140 members. In their winery and wine shop visitors can taste the wine paired with local cheese and cured meat specialties.
