Pinkert Winery

Experience a century-long wine journey of the Pinkert winery, from a small family cellar to a modern winery producing excellent wines in Baranja!

The wine story of the Pinkert winery began in the early 1900s with the planting of several vines and a small family cellar on the slopes of Bansko brdo near the town of Suza in Baranja.

It is a place where the ancient Romans produced wine two thousand years ago, as evidenced by numerous archaeological finds. The Romans named this area Mons Aureus (Golden Hill).

Pinkert family’s wine journey was slowly built, and developed from generation to generation. Each generation had one thing in mind – to invest all their efforts in the production of excellent wines.

Today it is a modern winery that produces excellent wines from vineyards spread over 15 hectares. They produce different types of wine such as:

  • Graševina,
  • Blaufränkisch,
  • Chardonnay and
  • Cabernet Sauvignon.

They are especially proud of their Cuvée, which they prepare from varieties:

  • Blaufränkisch,
  • Cabernet Sauvignon,
  • Merlot and
  • Portugieser.

Guests and visitors can experience a wine tasting with a tour of the wine cellar.
