The Pilato family winery is located in the village of Lašići, on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. The family has been engaged in winemaking for three generations.
The winemaking and viticulture tradition dates back to 1934, when Ivan Pilato (great-grandfather) planted a small vineyard.
Today, the Pilato family farm has about 14 hectares of its vineyard and 4 hectares of cooperative vineyards, of which about 70% are white and 30% red varieties.
The wines are produced from varieties:
- Malvasia Istriana,
- Chardonnay,
- Sauvignon,
- Muscat Blanc,
- Teran,
- Cabernet Sauvignon.
Visitors can taste these award-winning wines and have a wine cellar tour.
