Kos – Jurišić winery is a family farm with 3.5 hectares of vineyards, situated 30 kilometers from Zagreb in Nespeš on the Zelina wine road.
At their winery, visitors can taste different grape varieties, such as:
- Pinot Grigio,
- Kerner (a crossing of Trollinger with Riesling),
- Chardonnay,
- Kraljevina (one of the oldest indigenous white grape varieties in Croatia),
- Rhein Riesling.
At first, along with wine tasting, guests would have the opportunity to taste and enjoy cheese and charcuterie platters.
Later, the winery ventured into more serious cooking.
Recently, they offered picnics at the vineyard. The idea was to offer baskets with warm bread, homemade food, and wines during the weekend.
In the vineyard, bales of straws transformed into tables, surrounded by blankets and pillows, to create a magical atmosphere for a perfect wine experience.
