In 2008, the Galić family opened a modern winery and restaurant. The Galić winery is located in Kutjevo, known as an exceptional winegrowing position that produces grapes of exceptional quality. This is exactly what the superior native white grape variety – Graševina – needs and therefore was proclaimed one of the best Croatian appellations for Graševina.
Galić family has been in the winegrowing business for generations, but Josip Galić, its current leader makes it a modern, successful business of the highest standards.
The winery also has a modern laboratory, so they can continuously analyze the quality of the wine. They produce different varieties of wine:
- Graševina,
- Sauvignon Blanc,
- Chardonnay,
- Pinot Noir,
- Merlot and
- Cabernet Sauvignon.
Visitors are offered different types of tastings. In addition to a cellar tour and tasting wine, there is also the possibility of enjoying gastronomic specialties, visiting the winery with the winery’s chief oenologist, and more.
