Belje winery is one of the largest Croatian wine producers, with 650 hectares of its own vineyards, situated in the Baranja wine-growing region. Wines are made exclusively from the grapes produced in our own vineyards.

Further production takes place in their winery, one of the most state-of-the-art winemaking facilities in Europe, situated in the heart of Belje vineyards.

The wines, which are made in the winery with great care and love, mature in the Belje wine cellar, which is dug into the hill in the center of Kneževi Vinogradi. The cellar is almost 500 years old, and today it is one of the biggest and the most impressive wine cellars in the whole region. It holds Premium and Goldberg wines, which mature in wooden barrels on two cellar levels.

Graševina is the most important wine variety of  Belje winery. Its extraordinary quality is connected with the specific characteristics of Baranja terroir and the special care that the vineyards receive.

Other varieties, such as:

  • Chardonnay,
  • Merlot,
  • Cabernet Sauvignon,
  • Blaufränkisch and
  • Pinot Noir regularly wins gold medals at prestigious wine competitions.

The tourist offer of Belje wienry is a complete story that includes the tour through one of the most beautiful wine roads in Croatia, a modern winery with a wine cellar located in the vineyards and an old cellar from 1526 with oak barrels, a rich wine archive, a wine tasting room, and a wine store. Year after year, they record an increasing number of guests from all over the world.
