Boutique winery in the Kutjevo wine region with a great history, dating back to the early 20th century when Tomaso Sontacchi managed the famous wine estate in Kutjevo between the two world wars.
The Sontaki family cultivates 1.5 ha (3.7 acres) of their vineyard and 1 ha (2.5 acres) of cooperative vineyards.
Their most popular wines are made from Graševina, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Noir grape varieties in the proportion of 70% red and 30% white wine varieties.
From estate-grown grapes, wines are fermented with wild yeasts and maturated in stainless steel vats and Slavonian oak barrels. Interventions are kept to a minimum, and yields are controlled.
Sontacchi winery offers various wine-tasting options where guests can sample a selection of fine wines and learn about winemaking and accommodation in their Wellness B&B.
