Kosovec Winery
Kosovec winery is located on the slopes of Moslavina, in Popovača, and owns 3 hectares of vineyards.
The wine is produced from grape varieties:
- native Škrlet,
- Chardonnay,
-
Blaufränkisch,
- Zweigelt and p
- Pinot Noir.
The philosophy of vineyard cultivation and processing is based on ecological principles and techniques, so vineyard protection is minimal and is based on dedicated manual work and reduced use of mechanization, without the use of artificial fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides.
Wine production is based exclusively on the natural quality of grapes, without any corrections or interventions in must or wine, fermentation is carried out spontaneously with autochthonous yeasts, without the use of oenological agents, clarification, and filtration, while the use of sulfur is reduced to a minimum.
With such an approach, the aim is to maximize and faithfully convey certain specificities of the soil and the vineyard itself, as well as the characteristics of each vintage and variety, which results in obtaining original, sincere, and natural wines.
