On more than six hectares of land, Krolo vineyards are located in Strmendolc, a small town in Dalmatian Zagora.

It is about 30 kilometers north of Split and is the last geographical line of vine cultivation. Due to the altitude and the harsh continental climate formed by the mountain ranges surrounding the area, night temperatures are relatively low throughout the year.

Wines are produced from varieties:

Pošip,

Chardonnay,

Crljenak (Zinfandel),

Cabernet Sauvignon,

Merlot,

Grenache Noir.

With prior notice, visitors can choose between various wine&food pairing options. Krolo family serves only homemade food and delicacies.

The tradition of viticulture of the Štimac family around the river Neretva dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, and the name of the winery bears his nickname – Rizman, after the great-grandfather who started it.

The Štimac family pioneered one of the youngest vineyard appellations in Croatia, the Komarna vineyard.

The Komarna vineyard is the first fully organic vineyard in the country. In the vineyard of the Štimac family, more than 90% consist of the native varieties:

Plavac mali,

Pošip and

Tribidrag (known as Crljenak and Zinfandel).

Syrah and Chardonnay are international varieties.

As part of the winery, there is a tasting room where individual and group tastings are organized. It is also possible to arrange to enjoy autochthonous gastronomic delicacies with wines. The tasting room terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding area.

The Zure family has become the largest vineyard owner on Korčula island, with 10 hectares of newly planted vineyards in 2011 and 2012. The family’s new generation of winemakers is enthusiastic about experimenting with the island’s most intriguing grape variety – Grk.

The winery produces wines from:

Pošip,

Plavac mali,

Cabernet Sauvignon,

Merlot,

Syrah,

Alicante Bouschet.

In addition to the mentioned wines, the winery also produces traditional Dalmatian dessert wine Prošek “Elysion” and sparkling wine “Quinta Essentia,” which evoke the Grk variety in a way that has never been presented.

The Batistić-Zure family is also engaged in agritourism, where they market their efforts in the form of vegetable growing, fishing, olive growing, etc., in their restaurant “Zure,” where you can taste all the products and traditional cuisine of the region accompanied by the wines of their winery. In addition to wine, the Batistić-Zure family produces olive oil and various fruit and herbal liqueurs.

Although the dominance of red wine varieties when planting the vineyard was somewhat unusual, considering that in the continental part of Croatia, white varieties dominate, the awards for the red wines produced by Brzica showed that this move was justified and that the climate and soil are also excellent for red varieties.

As part of the winery, there is also a wine-tasting room and accommodation facilities where guests can enjoy, in addition to exceptional wines, local Slavonian gastronomic specialties, and the beauty of the region.

Staying in Brzica winery, the unique and beautiful view of the mighty Danube river and enchanting forests leaves every guest breathless.

The Antunović winery has emerged from a hundred-year-long family tradition of viticulture and wine production. Since planting a new vineyard in 2004, Jasna Antunović Turk, has taken the family business into “a new winemaking age”, seeing winemaking as a new life challenge and her true vocation.

The winery is located in north-eastern Croatia, in a wine-growing region known as Podunavlje – Erdut. The exquisite microclimate, fertile and loose soil, and equal distribution of precipitation and sunshine all ensure highly favorable conditions for planting various grape varieties.

The wines, with recognizable female signature, became one of the most awarded wines in Croatia (DWWA London 2017, Decanter platinum medal for Graševina Premium 2013 and Mundus Vini Germany 2021, Best of show gold medal for Chardonnay sur Lie 2017).

Antunović winery has an excellent wine-tasting room in traditional style for individual guests and tourist groups. A wine archive with 2,000 bottles of the Antunović wine selection also offers a pleasant ambiance for guided wine tastings.

The winery is located close to the river Danube with a spacious and well-designed outdoor area.

Please contact the winery via the official website or phone for a guided wine tasting.
