Markota winery is a family winery whose vineyards are located in some of the best locations in continental Croatia – the Klikun and Starac appellation, near Pleternica.
Through the generation since 1957, the Markota family has been living its wine story and cherishing the love for the vine, which is also symbolized by the rose planted at the beginning of each row of vines, 1000 of them.
Wines are produced from:
- GraĊĦevina,
- Sauvignon Blanc,
- Cabernet Sauvignon,
- Pinot Gris.
Apart from cellar tour, visitor can have a wine tasting organized in the vinyards, next to the big barrel, and enjoy the panoramic view over Golden Valley – Zlatna dolina.
