Ivan Katunar winery continues the long-standing family tradition of wine production. Father and son, two Ivans, are responsible for the top-quality wines.

The first bottles from the vintage-dated 1989, were the beginning of the commercialization of the family wine story. They combined generational experience and new knowledge in wine production.

Ivan Katunar and his family continue this wine story to show the importance of wine in everyday life. The vineyards are located in Vrbnički polje and the locality of Krasina. These areas are highly favorable to growing vines and guarantee high-quality grapes.

Wines are produced from varieties:

native white Žlahtina and red Sansigot,

Chardonnay,

Muscat,

Merlot,

Cabernet Sauvignon.

Visitors can enjoy a glass of wine or have a guided tasting and a cellar tour with a prior reservation.

Ante Sladić winery is a family winery located in the village of Plastovo. Their vineyards are located on the hills above Skradin, next to the Krka National Park.

It is an area with a unique microclimate, influenced by the Krka River and the Adriatic Sea at an altitude of 250 m. The sea created a lot of limestones here in the past, which gives minerality to all wines. Due to the influence of the river, diverse soils are present, from rich to poor, which enabled the creation of high-quality wines of all styles.

Wines are produced from native varieties:

Debit,

Maraština,

Lasina,

Plavina,

Tribidrag (also known as Crljenak and Zinfandel).

There is no better way to experience all the treasures of the Ante Sladić winery than to enjoy tastings in an authentic environment. You will taste wines produced exclusively from native varieties of the Skradin area and their extra virgin olive oil made from native varieties. With little homemade delicacies and a nice glass of wine, you will learn first-hand everything about their philosophy of wine production.

Liqueurs are also made from high-quality grapes macerated with wild fruits and herbs that grow in their region.

The winery owns 2 hectares of vineyards, of which 1.2 hectares are young plantations. Older vineyards are over 50 years old and still produce fine wine.

The vineyards are on red soil with little stone, which is why the wines obtained are different from those from white soil or only stone.

Within the winery, there is also a tasting room where visitors can taste and buy Birin wines.

On more than six hectares of land, Krolo vineyards are located in Strmendolc, a small town in Dalmatian Zagora.

It is about 30 kilometers north of Split and is the last geographical line of vine cultivation. Due to the altitude and the harsh continental climate formed by the mountain ranges surrounding the area, night temperatures are relatively low throughout the year.
