Plenković winery was founded in 1986 and renamed in 1993 to Zlatan Otok, the name under which it does business today.

Plenković vineyards are on the fertile lands of the southern cliffs of the island Hvar, where the Plavac Mali variety thrives. They also have vineyards below Biokovo, where new vineyards were planted in 2004 at 300 to 400 meters above sea level.

Plenkovic winery produces wines from native varieties:

  • Plavac Mali,
  • Crljenak (Zinfandel),
  • Babić,
  • Pošip,
  • Bogdanuša,
  • Kuč,
  • Prč,
  • Maraština,

Along with international varieties:

  • Merlot,
  • Syrah.

Visitors can taste their wine in their restaurant and marina – Bilo idro, a popular nautical and tourist attraction in a beautiful location with a view of the sea and island Hvar’s vineyards.
